Just finished recording Deloitte's HireVue, and I felt like an actor performing a monologue to an emotionless camera. Here's my experience and hard-learned lessons for anyone facing this challenge.

Simply put, it's an AI interview system. No interviewer—just a cold screen. The system presents several questions, gives you tens of seconds to prepare for each, then you speak your answer to the camera within the time limit. Your responses are recorded and evaluated by both AI and HR.

Don't just say Deloitte is 'the biggest of the Big Four'—that's meaningless. I answered from three angles:

Situation: I described a group coursework on market analysis where we encountered missing data problems.

Task: We needed to estimate London's coffee market size without direct data.

I mentioned the rise of Generative AI and how it's disrupting traditional work patterns. As a newcomer, I need to maintain an open mindset and constantly learn new tools and skills to avoid becoming obsolete.

我没有说「我没经验」这种丧气话。我从一个更宏观的角度回答，最大的挑战是「持续学习和适应变化的能力」。我提到了Generative AI的兴起，说它正在颠覆很多传统的工作模式。作为新人，我需要保持一个开放的心态，不断地学习新工具、新技能，才能不被时代淘汰。

This is a 'Why this role?' variant. I mapped my personal traits to the position requirements, giving examples for problem-solving (optimizing ad campaigns through data analysis), communication (debate team experience), and teamwork.

Equipment and network are lifelines! Test your camera, microphone, and network in advance. Find a well-lit spot with a clean background and no interruptions.
